DESIGN TREND: INDUSTRIAL WINDOWS
Over the recent years, residential design has been undergoing an industrial revolution. Elements such as wooden stools, exposed concrete floors and industrial windows have become a huge must also for new houses. Framed in black steel and divided into a grid of rectangular lights, these windows’ design originated from practical reasons. If a “bolt” went flying off a machine and broke a window, you didn’t need to replace a huge piece of glass. Nowadays they might have lost their practical reason-why, but they keep intact all their retro charm.
